Very hospitable. We spent a heavenly quiet night with the windows open and good forest air. Room and bathroom very clean. Good food in the restaurant with a reasonable price-performance ratio. Breakfast is not exciting due to the corona, but definitely plenty. Nice service.

Spit roast was delicious and very cheap. Furniture in the restaurant is from the late 80's. Everything is still very traditional. Menu needs to be modernized, for example fish or soups. Very nice service. Delicious country beers.

Nice guesthouse, beautiful village. The dolls inside are a bit creepy

The Alte Post is a classic inn that is beautifully located in the center of the village. Boss and staff are friendly and attentive. Our room was large and very clean. The bathroom was new and nice. The food was good, with minor restrictions, which we explained to the boss personally. The breakfast is very good, sausage and ham are homemade, jam too. Anyone expecting a breakfast buffet a few meters long is wrong here, should take a 4 or 5 death house in Bayreuth or Nuremberg. What is also great, dogs are welcome here. Our Amadeus felt really good. The prices are cheap in my opinion. Even if some are of the opinion that you should only give 3 stars, you should always keep in mind that it is an inn and not a 4/5 star hotel. I've also been to many hotels, so some of them could still pick up something from the old post. We will definitely come back here.

Very cosy . Rooms are big. Perhaps this is not the most fancy and modern place on earth but they serve great breakfasts and have very adorable prices. For sure order a fish for dinner - they cook great in restaurant.
